Minecraft Alpha v1.0.16_02 — Mod Project
A work-in-progress modification for Minecraft Alpha v1.0.16_02, drawing deep from the lore and atmosphere of the AlphaVer ARG. Something was left behind in an old build. We're still finding out what.
// About the Mod
Extension [RD] is a mod built on top of Minecraft Alpha v1.0.16_02 — one of the rawest, most primitive builds of the game in existence. The project takes heavy inspiration from the AlphaVer ARG, a deeply unsettling alternate-reality game that weaves mystery, corruption, and dread into the fabric of old Alpha-era Minecraft.
The mod isn't just a content pack. It's an attempt to expand the ARG's world — to push deeper into the things the original Alpha seemingly tried to hide. Expect altered terrain generation, anomalous entities, and environments that shouldn't exist in a version this old.
Anomalous World Gen
Terrain that doesn't follow the rules. Structures that weren't placed by any generator you'd recognize.
ARG-Driven Lore
Rooted in AlphaVer's narrative. The mod treats the ARG's events as canonical history, not background flavor.
Alpha Faithful
Built directly on v1.0.16_02. No modern porting. No abstraction layers. The original jank is part of the point.

This project is actively being worked on. Things will break. Things will change. That's expected.

The AlphaVer ARG is an ongoing alternate-reality game centered around anomalous discoveries within pre-Beta Minecraft versions. Unexplained screenshots, corrupted save files, entities with no source code, and worlds that behave in ways no documented seed could produce.

The project's source code is hosted on GitHub. The repository is currently private while the mod is in active development, but will be made public once it reaches a shareable state. You can already visit the link below — watch it for when it opens up.
